Commonly Asked Questions
& Helpful Details-
Animal communication is a quiet alchemy of presence, awareness and recognition expressed non-verbally through telepathic exchange. It allows the subtle messages of your animal companion to be received and honored.
Sometimes called interspecies communication, this work is often used interchangeably with animal communication. Interspecies communication is a broader umbrella that includes animals, plants and the wider natural world. While my primary focus is animal communication, I also welcome nature’s intelligence when it can support the work.

Animal communication creates a space for interaction between humans and animals, offering insight and understanding through attentive listening. A session may explore what your animal companion is feeling, needing or wishing to express and may provide guidance to support a more conscious way of being together.
Sessions are held remotely via Zoom and recorded so you can revisit them afterward. If you prefer not to have your session recorded or would rather meet by phone, that choice is fully respected, just let me know.

Any areas of focus you’d like me to hold.
Anything you feel is important for me to know beforehand.
* Minimal details are all that’s needed. This allows the session to unfold organically and naturally.

Animal communication is not a substitute for veterinary care, behavioral training or professional medical advice. Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive Japanese energy healing practice that encourages relaxation and supports the body’s natural capacity for balance and restoration. It is commonly used as a complementary wellness modality and is offered in a variety of holistic and wellness settings. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese words Rei, meaning universal life and Ki, meaning energy.
I work with Usui and Kundalini Reiki, offering sessions for both humans and animals. Reiki can be shared at a distance, making this work accessible regardless of location. Distance Reiki is widely practiced and many people experience it as soothing and restorative.
Reiki may be beneficial during times of stress, transition or pre- and post-procedural care, as well as when you are simply seeking a deeper sense of tranquility and balance. For animals, Reiki can be especially helpful in fostering calm, comfort and overall well-being, particularly during periods of change or healing.
As with all subtle energy work, approaching a session with openness often enhances the overall experience.
-
Reiki is received uniquely by each individual. Some people notice sensations such as warmth, tingling, emotional release or deep relaxation, while others experience very little sensation at all. All responses are natural and valid.
If there is any concern about feeling effects during a busy day or while needing to remain alert, a clear intention is set for the Reiki energy to be received when it is most optimal for your body whether immediately, later in the day or while you are resting or sleeping.
On rare occasions, some people may notice mild and short-lived sensations such as a slight headache or light dizziness as the body rebalances and releases what no longer serves it. These experiences typically pass within a short period of time.
-
Distance Reiki sessions are conducted remotely and do not require you or your animal to be present or at a specific appointment time. After your purchase, I will reach out within 24–72 hours to confirm details and schedule your session at my earliest availability.
During a session, all are welcome to continue to go about their day as usual or rest quietly. For both humans and animals, I will need their name and any specific areas you would like me to hold in awareness, if applicable. During animal sessions, I do not communicate with them beyond assessing which areas may benefit from focused attention, similar to human sessions. I will message you afterward with any impressions or reflections that arise.
Good hydration before and after your session is recommended, as water helps support the body's natural cleansing process as energy shifts.
-
Animals are naturally receptive and highly attuned to energetic work. They do not require long sessions and are beautifully capable of regulating how much Reiki they receive. Sessions are guided by the animal’s comfort, consent and natural rhythms.
-
Reiki can be offered for nearly anything - living beings, physical objects, environments and situations. This can include people, animals, plants, homes, businesses, land and inanimate items or circumstances such as preparing a space for sale or recalibrating an atmosphere after a significant event. These sessions invite what feels heavy, stagnant or out of kilter to gently release, allowing a renewed balance to emerge.
With these sessions your privacy is always respected. You may simply describe your space such as a three-bedroom, two-story home, five-stall stable, studio apartment or workspace and note any areas you’d like supported. For those who don’t mind sharing, a street name can be helpful, though it is not necessary.
-

Reiki is not a cure for illness or disease and does not diagnose conditions or replace professional medical, veterinary or psychological treatment.
Any information shared during a session is intended to support relaxation and overall wellness. Reiki may be used alongside other forms of care to support the body’s natural healing ability.
